Why come to the handwriting clinic?

Handwriting can be difficult for a number of reasons.  But here at the hand-writing clinic we can help. Our team of Occupational Therapists are highly trained in motor skills, visual motor, visual perception and hand writing skills. Children love coming because they make progress and best of all it is fun! Some children experience difficulty with legibility, speed, letter reversals, concentrating or experience pencil fatigue. Our Occupational Therapists will tailor a programme to your child’s needs.

What to expect

At the Handwriting clinic, we do things a bit differently. Our programmes are researched based, fun and interactive!  We run group and individual sessions. Many children cope well in groups but sometimes we need to give children more individual attention because this is what might work best for them.  Your Therapist will guide you. The screening takes approximately 1 hour and then time is allocated for feedback and recommendations.  Your Therapist will recommend what programme your child will benefit from.
